Poker is a very technical game with guessing, calculations on guesses and ridiculously lucky people involved in all this. So, all we can offer are guides to attempt in helping you not make really bad decisions ;-)
Update 14/03/2007: recently while reading a good Full-Tilt-Poker article I have learned an easy way to calculate these numbers on-the-go. 1) How many outs...eg. 14... 2) Times it by number of chances eg. 2 chances; 14x2 = 28.... 3) Times that number by 2, and you are done!... eg. 28x2 = 56%
Not exact but it's fairly close; remember the higher quantity of outs (and more chances), the greater the error in calculation.

Example: The top line shows statistics for a poker player chasing 20 cards to improve their hand. The chances of "hitting" one of those 20 cards on the Turn, the next card, is 42.6%. The chances of hitting one of those 20 cards on the next 2 cards, is 67.5%
Q: How is this useful?
A: Easy, if you think one of those 20 cards will cause you to win, then you can be comfortable in contributing another 67% of the pot value in your bets for the Turn and River. It's just a guide in knowing what your cards are worth. Don't forget, the other players can hit their Outs too.
Q: Print version?

Good Luck!
